FYBA yacht sales seminar commends Luke Brown website
The 2012 FYBA Yacht Sales Summit recognized the Luke Brown Yacht Brokerage website as an example of an effective website.
Andrew Cilla and Bob Offer were representing Luke Brown Yachts at the Florida Yacht Brokers Association yacht sales seminar held in Fort Lauderdale. Both men have been very hands-on and involved in the new Luke Brown website. When the speaker addressed the attendees about what a website should do, they were surprised to see that the Luke Brown website was shown as an example of what a yacht sales website should be:
- Accessible on smart phones and tablets
- Effective search engine optimization
- Up to date, accurate informaton
- Consistently updated listings and content
- Use of original photography
- Original content, stories and blog posts
Results: The new Luke Brown website works efficiently and takes advantage of the opportunities offered by clients using new devices. Luke Brown yachts has had excellent feedback in terms of increased traffic and visitor interest.
Background: In 2011 Andrew Cilla, president and owner of Luke Brown Yachts, decided to replace the outmoded flash-based website with a new website. Laser Advertising encouraged Luke Brown Yachts to transition to a streamlined website that could take advantage of iPhones, iPads, tablets and other hand-held devices. Laser Advertising designed the look of the new website, developed functionality, created original content and made recommendations for continued expansion of the site. The goal from the beginning was to create a website that would be an effective sales tool for yacht buyers, yacht sellers and yacht brokers.
