Make the yachting lifestyle real with original charter videos
We'll be at the FYBA Charter Destinations Seminar showing original videos that promote the yachting lifestyle and fun destinations. Here are some of the benefits of using video in charter yacht marketing.
Yacht charter videos offer a quick way of communicating a lot of information to clients by
- Making the yachting lifestyle real
- Giving a clear sense of space on board
- Personalizing the crew service
- Presenting real meals served on board
- Identifying captain and crew members
- Showing how easy and fun the activities can be
- Demonstrating the use of tenders and water toys
Charter yacht brokers and managers should try to incorporate appealing videos of their fleet whenever possible. Seasoned charter clients can use the videos to consider new offerings. For the newbie guest, the video can answer a lof of their basic questions and set their minds at ease.
Be careful, there are also pitfalls:
- Don't show actual charter guests
- Don't invade anyone's privacy
- Don't make the boat look worse than it actually is
- Don't use exotic editing or camera work that would suggest sea-sickness
- Make sure that everything you video shows the boat and crew working in a safe, legal manner and using all safety precautions (such as including PFDs on water toys)
We'll be showing high definition video productions of the charter yachts SeaDweller, Mustang Sally, Azteca II and Mr. Terrible (shown here).
